Bre Brown, a graphic design major from Warwick, was recently awarded the Charlotte Cobb Stahl Scholarship for her outstanding fine arts submission at the 2014 Gladys Greenbaum Meyers Juried Student Art Exhibition. To be considered for this award, students must enter five works to be juried by the faculty.

Ramos inducted

into Honors Society

:Stonehill College recently inducted Connielynn Ramos of Warwick into the Sigma Zeta Honor Society.

Warwick

residents awarded at URI

The URI Harrington School of Communication and Media recently recognized outstanding students at its second annual Public Relations Excellence Awards ceremony. Heather Hermanowski won the Most Innovative Award, while Alexandra Baccari won the Leadership Award. Both are Warwick residents.

Morris conducts research

Warwick native Sara Morris, a member of the Class of 2016 at Stonehill College, will be one of 50 students who will be conducting research this summer through the college’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program. Morris will be working on a project titled “A Political History of the Appropriations Process,” exploring the historical development of the appropriations process.

2 receive honors

Michaela Giuttari, a sophomore from Warwick, was listed on the honor roll at the Loomis Chaffee School for the winter term. Zachary Giuttari, a junior from Warwick, was named to the high honor roll.

Lindsay Coffey inducted

Lindsay Coffey of Warwick was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi at Fordham University. Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

2 earn Saint Anselm

College Honors

Matthew Rocheleau and Patricia Turner, both of Warwick, were named to the Saint Anselm College dean’s list for the fall semester.
