Audrey G. Burdick, 93, of Kulas Rd., West Warwick, died peacefully January 20, 2012. She was the wife of the late Robert Burdick.

During World War II, Audrey worked as a welder and shipfitter and then worked for Droitcour Co. of Warwick for over 39 years. She is survived by her sister and companion, Various Dougherty; her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Richard Skillicorn of Watsonville, Calif.; her beloved grandchildren, Brth Olsen and her husband, Don, and Stephen Skillicorn and his wife, Judy; four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Julia Kuncio predeceased her on Sept. 30 2011. She is deeply missed by Julia’s son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Patricia Kuncio Jr. and their children, Jacob and Samantha, and by her “special” niece, Ann Broadhurst.

There will be a celebration of Audrey’s life Feb. 15 at 11 a.m. at Church of the Apostles, 170 Fairview Ave., Coventry.

In lieu of flowers, contributions Church of the Apostles in her memory would be appreciated.
