Barnes and Noble, Warwick will host author and illustrator Mary Jane Begin Sunday, September 11. Begin will be conducting a reading and book signing for her new book My Little Pony: The Dragons on Dazzle Island at the store at 1350 Bald Hill Road from 1 to 3 p.m.
Begin is a Rhode Island-based award-winning illustrator known in particular for her acclaimed and beloved picture books, including Before I Go to Sleep, The Wind in the Willows, Little Mouse’s Painting, My Little Pony: Under the Sparkling Sea, and is also the author of My Little Pony: Art of Equestria.
She is also a professor at Rhode Island School of Design.
