Barbara M. (Jollie) Rothermel, age 81, formerly of Gladys Court, Warwick, died on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Greenwood Center in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Henry I. Rothermel.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bessie (Stanley) Jollie, she lived in Warwick for 45 years.
Barbara was the mother of the late John J. Rothermel and Laura R. Andrews and the sister of the late Helen Gillooly, William Jollie, Teresa Johnson, Joseph Jollie, Dorothy Bowden, John Jollie, Mildred Able and Frances Slater. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter (please gather just inside the cemetery entrance at 9:45 a.m.). Visiting hours are omitted. Visit www.barrettandcotter.com.
