Barbara M. (Moses) Delfino

Barbara M. (Moses) Delfino, 83, passed away quietly at home in Randolph, Vermont, on February 14, 2014 after a long illness with pulmonary fibrosis.

Born in Hinsdale, Illinois, to the late Gordon Moses and Dorothy H. (Head) Clark, she was raised in Concord, New Hampshire, and studied in Boston, Massachusetts, receiving a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Sargent College at Boston University. After working as a physical therapist, she married in Concord in 1955 and lived with her husband, Joseph J. (Jenkins) Delfino, M.D., in North Providence, RI, before moving to Warwick, RI, in 1965. She raised two daughters, Cynthia E. Quilici, of Randolph, Vermont, and Linda M. Plotkin, of West Hartford, Connecticut. Long a volunteer at the Warwick Public Library, she also enjoyed her garden and cats, watching college sports, and weekly outings and card games with friends.

She was widowed in 1993 and has been pre-deceased her sister, Jean M. (Moses) Sturm, and her brother, George H. (Higgins) Moses. Besides her daughters, she leaves two grandchildren, Harris and Katherine Plotkin of West Hartford, Conn.

A funeral will respectfully be omitted.
