Woodbury Union Presbyterian Church, located in the heart of Conimicut Village in Warwick, will be opening its doors for the annual Christmas bazaar Nov. 16 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. With a Conimicut Lighthouse and nautical theme, members have been busy crafting hundreds of items for the holiday shopper, with limited edition Conimicut Lighthouse pictured on pillows and dish towels, CL Harvest Moon magnets, various Conimicut Lighthouse and other lighthouse note cards for the holidays, along with Conimicut shell angels and ornaments and various stenciled items in many themes. LED lit shell trees and tulle trees, along with table floral arrangements, wreaths, candles, frames and even special nightlights have been crafted to adorn your home for the holidays. There is also a variety of great affordable gift baskets, and gourmet foods that can be saved to put under the tree, or gifted to that special someone. The gourmet table will be offering a variety of home-cooked items including baked beans, marinated mushrooms, soups, chili, calzones, relishes, spreads and more. For those who love fudge and baked goods, our church is known for its great cooks and wonderful desserts. However, before you eat all of the baked goods, make sure you have lunch and feast on the homemade soups and sandwiches that will be offered in the Friendship Room. New this year, four outside vendors will bring with them items that have not been able to duplicate in craft form but you may find irresistible. Come early while supply lasts and bring your friends.
