Kate Ferns, a member of the Building Blocks camp operated from Warwick Central Baptist Church in Apponaug found just the way to cool off in yesterday’s record temperatures. Of course, she shared the hose with other campers. The program with 50 kids between the ages of 3 and 12 operates five days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $135 a week.
