Bernard C. Creswick, 94, of Warwick passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Sunny View Nursing Home. He was the beloved husband of Ruby V. (Hicks) Creswick.

Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Charles and Emily (Hemming) Creswick. Mr. Creswick was a Defense Contract Inspector for the United States Government until his retirement in 1982. He served with the 11th Bomb Group of The United States Army Air Corps during World War II and the Korean War and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal. He was a member of Warwick Central Baptist Church for 60 years; a member of King David Lodge F&AM of Taunton, MA and the Scottish Rite; the Pearl Harbour Survivors Association; a charter member of the Whirlaway Square Dance Group; and coached Rainbow Girls Softball Team.

He was the loving father of Linda M. Knutton and her late husband, Tracy of North Kingstown, Brenda E. Gregson-Ferriter and her husband, Peter of Warwick, Wanda M. Kennedy of Coventry and Bernard C. Creswick, Jr. and his wife, Cindy of Raynham, MA. Cherished grandfather of nine; and great-grandfather of eleven. He was the brother of the late Frank R. Creswick, Marjorie Siciliano and Edna Fichna.

His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery, Taunton, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
