To the Editor:
Barry Nordin’s letter, “Tired of ‘take back country’ refrain,” (Beacon July 31, 2014) was more than discouraging. He can dislike former President George W. Bush, but to state that President Bush allowed terrorists to murder thousands of innocent people on 9/11 was beyond the pale. It was a statement so mean-spirited and degrading to all those who lost their lives and to their grieving families that it defies comprehension.
Mr. Nordin has every right to express his opinion but, in my opinion his words were reprehensible and disgraceful.
