With more than 35 vendors, perfect weather and some blues to set the mood, this year’s Conimicut Arts and Crafts Fair held at the point attracted a crowd. Rory and Lisa from the Blues Hounds provided the tunes. The event was a natural for campaigning candidates; seen here, Republican gubernatorial candidate Allan Fung talks with Mayor Scott Avedisian as former Ward 1 Councilwoman Sue Stenhouse listens. The sea glass sun catchers and the tiffany stained glass lampshade made by Paula Bolis captures the interest of shoppers, and Jason is totally intrigued by his own faces as his mother, Emily Mello, tries out jewelry. The Conimicut Village Association hosts the fair. (Warwick Beacon photos)
