Andrew Merryfield celebrated his birthday with three hits, including a home run, and Corey Olsen hit a double to celebrate his birthday, as Brennan’s Braces beat Donelan’s 14-1. Collin Lemieux also had three hits and a home run. Jameson Tanguay had two hits, while Andrew and Tyler Brunelle pitched three innings each. Shortstop Demitri Ayers ended the game with a double play.

Brennan’s Braces 11,

Savage & Savage 1

Demitri Ayers pitched a three-hit complete game for Brennan’s. Joe Melucci led the offense with two hits, including an inside-the-park home run. Collin Lemieux added two doubles. Savage’s Zack Fraser had a big triple in the second inning.

Sinapi Law 12, Coastway Credit Union 6

Sothea Ang Minh had a home run and the defense turned a triple play as Sinapi Law beat Coastway 12-6. Aiden Pacheco pitched three strong innings and Darius Frey pitched the final three.

Leo Tire 13,

DeGiulio Insurance 9

Leo Tire scored two in the first inning against DeGuilio and never gave up the lead as it went on to win by a score of 13-9. Harry Dolan led the way for Leo by going 3-for-3 with an RBI, and Collin Murphy and Jared Reminder had two RBI each.  Reminder led the Leo pitching effort with seven strikeouts.  DeGiulio’s Ben Rindeikis went 2-for-2 with four RBI. Jake White hit a home run and scored two runs, and Aidan Comer and Anthony Blade each had a hit and scored two runs. Danny Riccio and Alex Henderson stood out defensively for DeGiulio.

Langevin’s 20, Sheridan Electric 2

On a cold Wednesday night, the Langevin bats were anything but cold. Langevin’s jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Sheridan Electric responded with two runs of its own on hits by Jake Randall, Jacob Paul and Madison Jackson. Over the next four innings, Langevin’s would score 14 unanswered runs. Langevin’s Aaron Narcavage and Sean Gallagher had three hits and two doubles each. Chase Pariseau had four RBI and Aaron Rastella added two hits.

DeGiulio Insurance 7, VFW Post 4

DeGiulio Insurance rode the starting pitching of Jake White and the strong relief pitching efforts of Noah Sullivan and Ben Rindeikis to hold back a potent VFW offense in a 7-4 win Friday night at West Side. DeGiulio’s offense was led by Danny Riccio, who was 3-for-4 with three RBI, Jake White, who was 2-for-4, Thomas Mullane, who was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI, and Noah Sullivan, whose third inning, two-out RBI gave DeGiulio a lead it never relinquished. Anthony Blade’s two out single sparked a fourth-inning rally that broke open a 2-1 game.

VFW was led by the strong starting pitching of Michael Borges, and the pitching, hitting and defense of Matt Zubryki. Max Caracuzzo, Luke Hemond and Dylan Bourret also stood out for VFW, whose last inning rally fell short when Rendiekis came in for DeGiulio to close the door.

Langevin’s 3,

DeGiulio Insurance 1

In a well-played, low-scoring game, Langevin’s Reps defeated DeGiulio 3 -1. Langevin’s jumped out in front early as Aaron Narcavage led off the game with a walk. He proceeded to steal second and advanced to third on an error. Narcavage then stole home to give Langevin’s a 1-0 lead after one. DeGiulio responded with a run of its own in the second when Danny Riccio walked and was driven in by an RBI single from Thomas Mullane. The score would stay tied until the bottom of the third when Narcavage led off with a double and Chase Pariseau followed with a single. Aaron Rastella then ripped a double off of the center field fence to plate two runs for Langevin’s. Kenny Rix replaced Narcavage on the mound in the fourth and struck out the side in order. Domenic Brazeau pitched a scoreless fifth and sixth to secure the Langevin victory. Narcavage also doubled and scored two runs from his lead-off spot.

DeGiulio was led by the pitching of Noah Sullivan, Danny Riccio and Ben Rindeikis, who held a strong Langevin’s offense to seven hits. Jake White was 2-for-3 and made several stellar defensive plays for DeGiulio. Jeriel Garcia’s one-out, unassisted double play with the bases loaded late in the game kept DeGiulio close, but Brazeau stopped a last-inning DeGiulio rally to seal the win for Langevin’s.
