Blanche T. (Tramonti) Soltys, 93, died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Victoria Court where she was lovingly cared for during the past year. She was the wife of the late Rudolph J. Soltys.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Eva Tramonti, she had resided in the Buttonwoods section of Warwick for the past 65 years. Mrs. Soltys had formerly worked as a sales associate at former Shepard’s Department Store. She cherished her role as wife and mother and always enjoyed expressing her love of family and friends through her fabulous cooking.

She was the beloved mother of Jean C. Hubert and her husband, Armand, of Warwick and Robert J. Soltys and his wife, Sharon, of Coventry; grandmother of Kyle Soltys, MD and Leslie Hubert; great grandmother of Cory, Sarah and Talia Soltys; sister of the late John Tramonti, Rita Anderson, Edward Tramonti and Richard Tramonti.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 16, at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long Street. Burial in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 p.m.
