Thanks to a legislative grant from Rep. K. Joseph Shekarchi, the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce is $5,000 closer in its drive to transform its offices opposite City Hall. In addition to re-siding the Victorian style three-story building built in the late 1800s, the work will include interior and utility work. At the recent check presentation from left are Speaker of the House Nicholas Mattellio, chairman of the chamber board Steven Kitchin and Rep. Shekarchi.
