Bow Chika Wow Town gets top dog award

Bow Chika Wow Town has been selected for the 2014 Best of Warwick Award in the Dog Day Care Center category by the Warwick Award Program.

Each year, the Warwick Award Program identifies companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Warwick area a great place to live, work and play.  Alisa Paykos Theurer, Bow chika Wow Town owner is humbled by the award.

“It is such an honor to be awarded ‘Best of Warwick’ one and half years into the business.  My team works very hard to provide the utmost care and service for our dogs.  I am very excited to see them receive the recognition on a more public scale.”

Started about two years ago in a former factory and garage on Pavilion Avenue, Bow Chika Wow Town provides dog day care in an indoor/outdoor doggie park setting. It also has long-term housing and the facility is staffed 24 hours a day. Additional information is available by calling 737-2900.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2014 Warwick Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Warwick Award Program and data provided by third parties.

The Warwick Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Warwick area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.

The Warwick Award Program was established to recognize the best of local businesses in the community. The organization works exclusively with local business owners, trade groups, professional associations and other business advertising and marketing groups. Their mission is to recognize the small business community’s contributions to the U.S. economy.
