Bringing history alive at St. Rose of Lima School

History has come alive at St. Rose of Lima School, where students have been given the opportunity to select different ways in which to communicate what they have learned about an important historical event or person.

They could choose between performing skits, writing papers, creating a website, doing a documentary [Faith Alves was the only student to select that media to tell the story of the decision to drop the atomic bomb] to exhibits.

A total of 35 students submitted projects. As many as two of the students may be selected to have their work entered into the state history day competition.

Parents will have an opportunity to review the work Monday from 12:25 to 2 p.m.
