Mike Thoin has been tinkering with cars since he was a boy growing up in New Hampshire. Thoin shares his passion and keen knowledge of cars with his father who comes to Rhode Island often from New Hampshire on weekends, just to work alongside his son. Thoin and his dad have owned and serviced BMWs their whole lives, especially E30 and E36 body types. Mike lights up when he talks about his newest project, a bright red, 1990 BMW 325is which he is in the process of restoring with the touch of an artist – no detail has been overlooked, it is a masterpiece.

Mike Thoin’s passion for BMWs, the “ultimate driving machines”, is something he brings with him to every vehicle he works on here at Brock’s Collision Center, and is the very thing that caught owner Anthony Broccoli’s eye seven years ago. Mike and his fellow technicians are hard working perfectionists and car enthusiasts.
