Bruce “Courtney” Regan, 76, of Cranston passed away August 25, 2013. Although he suffered with Alzheimer’s for years, he lived comfortably at home with his beloved wife, Margaret “Lee” (Fougere), who cared for him until the last month of his life, when he had to be hospitalized.

He was the son of the late Charles William and Elizabeth (Leonard) Regan. He was a vereran of the United States Army, and worked for URI for over 30 years. Upon retirement, he never rested, he was always taking care of others rather than himself. He was devoted to serving his country, his family and everything he believed in. He had a “Heart of Gold” and was a man of honor and strength. He touched the hearts of everyone who crossed paths with him.

Besides his wife, he is survived by by his five daughters: Cynthia, Michelle, Debra, Deanna and Patricia; and eleven grandchildren. He also leaves behind two brothers, Kevin and Barry, and was predeceased by brothers Charles and Gerald.

Services will be held on Friday, September 27 at Saint John The Baptist Church, 69 Quincey Ave. (off Rt. 95, exit27), Pawtucket. A Gathering will follow the service and an opening of the grave ceremony will be held in East Greenwich, where his ashes will be buried with his parents.
