The 19th Annual Buckeye Brook Coalition Earth Day Cleanup will be held April 23 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The rain date is April 24.
Registration starts at 8:45 a.m. at Knights of Columbus Hall lower parking area located at 475 Sandy Lane in Warwick. Volunteers will be divided into groups led by team leaders to a number of sites throughout the Buckeye Brook watershed. The object of the cleanup is to remove litter from environmentally sensitive areas. Cleanup supplies will be provided. Dress appropriately for wet or woodland areas. Cleanup will end at noon. Those interested in leading a team should call Paul Earnshaw at 952-4462.
