Warwick youngster Daniel DeMello was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) just more than a year ago. On July 18 he took part in the “Gronk Buddy Bowl” at Splittsville at Patriots Place, organized by One Mission and featuring New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski and his father, Gordy Gronkowski. Children who are receiving treatment for cancer at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer Center attended the event and had the opportunity to bowl with the Gronkowskis. One Mission provides help, hope and care to children and families impacted by cancer. (Submitted photo)
