Buttonwoods Fish & Chips Where friendships and traditions endure
Meet Saturday morning regulars (l-r) Sue, Al, Rick, Paul, Phyllis and Angela - friends for over 26 years, and counting...

What is the secret to a friendship that lasts 26 years? Perhaps it is a bond that is forged from years of shared experiences, memories, laughter, and dreams. Perhaps the secret to long-lasting friendships is all of this, and something more. Friendships that span all these years also endure because of special places that are returned to over and over again - places that evoke feelings of warmth, comfort, and pure soul. Just ask longtime friends Rick, Sue, Paul, Phyllis, Al and Angela who have been returning to the place where their friendship has been nurtured and literally fed for over 8 of those 26 years - Buttonwoods Fish & Chips in Warwick.

What began as three couples who shared a love of their kids' sports and coaching soon evolved into a deep camaraderie and mutual affection that is celebrated every Saturday morning over coffee, oatmeal and omelets at their favorite gathering spot, Buttonwoods Fish & Chips. Here, they can laugh, reminisce and indulge in the homey feeling of this cozy restaurant where the service is impeccable, the food is heart-warming, hot and delicious, and where, most of all, their loyal patronage is truly appreciated. It would seem that the secret to this 26-year friendship also lies in traditions- traditions that last, like Saturday morning breakfasts at Buttonwoods.

Buttonwood's Fish & Chips has truly earned its reputation as an always satisfying, affordable and home-away-from-home destination for family and friends. While this restaurant is known for its warm hospitality and family ambiance, it is the wholesome, fresh and made-to-order food that brings customers back, time after time. Here, you will find a long menu of hot-off-the-grill breakfasts and lunches, including flavor-packed omelets, French toast, Belgium waffles, homemade muffins, pancakes, bacon, hash, and Sue's "best oatmeal ever" - the choices are endless, and made right on-site in Tony's spotless kitchen. Lunch is just as enticing, with your favorite classic hot and cold sandwiches, fresh salads and many famous fish platters.

Dinner is served on Friday evenings where you can enjoy a large selection of hearty and soul-satisfying American and Italian dishes, including Salmon Filet Florentine, Shepherds Pie, Stuffed Eggplant Casserole, tender Chicken Cutlets and their ever-popular Fish & Chips!
