The Oakland Beach Crime Watch is inviting Buttonwoods residents to their next meeting Thursday, Nov. 21 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the JONAH Community Center. Residents will have the opportunity to talk with members of the Oakland Beach Crime Watch and members of the Warwick Police Department’s Community Police Division, as well as provide and receive information regarding criminal activity and calls for service reported to police in Buttonwoods. The meeting is also meant to familiarize local residents with each other and their District Community Officers.
The intended audience is citizens over the age of 18 who are interested in starting a local crime watch in the Buttonwoods area. Please e-mail questions to Officer Danny Maggiacomo of the Community Police Division at daniel.maggiacomo@warwickri.com. JONAH is located at 830 Oakland Beach Avenue.
