The Elizabeth Mill, named for his wife by industrialist Thomas Jefferson Hill, is coming down with beams, flooring, windows and other elements of the structure being salvaged. Billray Corp. of Johnston is doing the demolition. A supervisor on site Saturday said the job should be completed within two months. The steam-driven textile mill was built in the 1870s and in recent times, until the work moved to Mexico, was a major Leviton Manufacturing plant. The city had hoped the mill could be re-purposed to serve as a reminder of its historic past and a signature building among new development in City Centre Warwick. Earlier this year, owner of the property and developer Michael Integlia unveiled plans for a mixed-use $25 million development of office, commercial and residential space on the site. He has not indicated when that project would start
