The Knight Student Government of the Community College of Rhode Island will host a car wash next weekend to benefit victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes.
The car wash will occur on the CCRI Knight Campus in Warwick on Friday, June 21 from noon to 4 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The suggested donation is $10.
In addition to the car wash, refreshments will be available for the public to purchase.
All of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of the worst series of tornadoes in recent history. The organization aims to raise $2,000 over the course of the weekend. Volunteers for the event are welcome. Send an email to SGKnight@my.ccri.edu for more information.
