Carlo Finocchiaro

Carlo Finocchiaro, age 89, of Alto Street, Cranston, died on Thursday, November 29, 2012.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Tine) Finocchiaro, he lived in Providence until moving to Cranston in 1999. Mr. Finocchiaro was a machine operator at Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick for 28 years, retiring in 1988. He was later a full-time volunteer at the Cranston Senior Center for 12 years.

He was the brother of Lidia Paolo of Warwick and the late Enrico “Henry” Finocchiaro; the uncle of Robert A. Paolo, Jeanne Paolo, Debra A. Paolo, Linda Paolo, Nicholas Paolo, and their families.

Funeral on Tuesday, December 4, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8-9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Missionaries of Charity, 335 East 145th Street, Bronx, NY 10451.
