Carol L. Sweeney, age 65, of Warwick, died on December 7, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Dennis A. Sweeney.
Born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Mrs. Sweeney, a homemaker, was also employed by Tiffany & Co., in Cumberland for over 10 years. She was an avid bingo player, and a fan of country & western music.
She was the mother of Dennis A. Sweeney, Jr. and Sean P. Sweeney, both of Warwick; and the dedicated grandmother of Savannah, Madison, Kyle, Brady, Alex and Ava Sweeney.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Kindly omit flowers.
