Carol M. (Adair) Brown, 72, entered into eternal life on January 13, 2014. She was the devoted wife of Edward R. Brown.

She was a beloved daughter of the late Robert G. and Alice Adair. Carol retired from Verizon in 1998 after 39 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a parishioner of St. Gregory The Great Church in Warwick.

She was the loving mother of Robert A. D’Andrea of Charlestown, Susan C. (D’Andrea) Kirby and her husband, Edward of Wakefield and Andrew G. D’Andrea and his wife, Jennifer of Seattle, Washington and three step-daughters Nancy A. Fawal and her husband, Nabil of Massachusetts, Patti A. Hien of Lincoln and Sharon E. Vanderbilt and her husband, Rob of Greenville. Also the cherished grandmother of Marissa S. Kirby, and step-grandmother of twelve, a caring sister of Barbara A. (Adair) Loisel and her husband, Roland, Janet M. (Adair) Gagnon and her husband, David and Gerry (Adair) Winn. She is also survived by her devoted dog “Mr. Bailey”.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
