Members of Brownie Troop 250 paid a special visit to Warwick City Hall recently as part of the requirements for their Celebrating Community badge. While earning this badge, the girls discover ways to celebrate the communities in their lives and explore what communities do to recognize their people. The event began with the tour of the city, provided by Councilwoman Camille Vella-Wilkinson, who arranged the day, including a conference with the mayor. The Brownies also debated each other in Council Chambers as they sat in council chairs at the end of the tour. They will cap off all their badge requirements at the end of the month when they’ll march in the Memorial Day Parade.
