The Ocean State Chapter of the Project Management Institute will hold a one-day workshop on change management April 12 at the Hampton Inn and Suites located at 2100 Post Road, Warwick, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Registration for the meeting must be made by April 9 at 11:55 p.m.
Chartered in 1999 as a professional development organization, the chapter for Rhode Island has project management practitioners from all areas of industry. The chapter’s goal is to provide a forum for members to collectively share their ideas and experiences as they relate to the field of Project Management.
The day’s program is titled: “Rational change management: without hype and myth.”
The cost is $185 for members and $220 for non-members.
The featured speaker will be Peter de Jaeger, who is a speaker/writer/consultant on the issues relating to the Rational Assimilation of the Future. He has published hundreds of articles on topics ranging from problem solving, creativity and change to the impact of technology on areas such as privacy, security and business. His articles have appeared in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, The Futurist and Scientific American.
