Charles C. Cokely, 78, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Greenwood Center in Warwick, RI. For 56 wonderful years, he was married to Beverly J. (Erickson) Cokely of Warwick.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Henry W. and Cecile M. (King) Cokely. Charles was employed at RI Hospital for 27 years. Mr. Cokely was a dedicated Free Mason. He was Past Master of Rhodes Lodge, currently Harmony Lodge #9 F. & A.M., Past Commander of Thomas Smith Webb Commandery and a past member of the DeMolay Chapter. He was proud to help serve his country as a Navy Seabee reservist.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children: Christine C. Cokely-Dawley (husband, Christopher) of Warwick, RI and Curtis C. Cokely (wife, Laura) of Warwick, RI; five grandchildren: Jessica Dawley, Adam Dawley, Casey Cokely, Breanna Giorgi, Nick Tella; and a sister Beverly Sanborn of New Jersey.

His funeral will take place at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI on Saturday, November 28 at 10 a.m. followed with interment in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Calling hours are Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 8 p.m.
