Charles T. O’Rourke, 76, passed away August 27, 2013 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret A (Mulvey) O’Rourke.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Wilbur) O’Rourke, he had been a resident of the Smith Hill section of Providence before moving to Warwick. Mr. O’Rourke was a Korean War Army veteran and was employed as a tool and die maker for Gorham Mfg. Co. for 36 years before retiring. Mr. and Mrs. O’Rourke enjoyed many summers and retirement at their home in Bonnet Shores.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa M. O’Rourke and Kerry A. Holsten, and son-in-law, Glenn Holsten; and granddaughter, Kaitlin J. Holsten. He was the brother of the late Barbara Santos, Joseph O’Rourke, and Maureen Lynch.

His funeral will be held Saturday, August 31 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at 10 am. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 p.m.
