Enjoy treats and an up-close look at real ballerinas at Tea Time in the Toy Shop for kids. This special event takes place Dec. 15 at 12:30 p.m., prior to the 2 p.m. show of 'Coppelia,' performed by the State Ballet of Rhode Island.

This humorous ballet has been entertaining audiences for more than 140 years, and has become a Rhode Island tradition.

Reservations for Tea Time, $10, are required.

Tickets for the performance are $30 for adults; $20 for senior citizens, and high school and college students; and $16 for children. Group rates are available.

Parking is free and the auditorium is accessible to guests with disabilities.

Now in its 53rd season, the nonprofit, regional State Ballet of Rhode Island showcases some of the area’s most gifted dancers, and continues its mission to create, present, and preserve.
