Christopher Earl Bianco, son of Diane and Peter Bianco, received his Eagle Badge, the highest award in Boy Scouting, at a Court of Honor held Sunday, Jan. 19 at St Kevin’s Church. Christopher is a member of Troop 1 Conimicut, Warwick where he served as the Senior Patrol Leader for more than two years. His Eagle service project was to Landscape St. Kevin’s School last May. A senior at Hendricken High, Christopher is currently ranked second in his class, a member of the Brother Edmund Rice Chapter of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta Mathematical Honor Society. He also brought back to Rhode Island Hendricken’s first ever national gold medal from last year’s National Academic Decathlon competition held in Minneapolis, and is a National Merit semi-finalist. He plans to remain with the troop as an assistant scoutmaster. Christopher is pictured here with his father, Peter, who is Troop 1 Conimicut Scoutmaster and his mother, Diane.
