Santa arrived by boat to the cheers of those at the Pawtuxet Athletic Club Saturday as village residents and merchants came together to celebrate the holiday season. Local artisans displayed and sold their work at the Aspray Boat House, merchants offered special seasonal sales, free cups of hot chocolate were provided and a big hit, as expected, were rides with Santa in a horsedrawn wagon.
