The Colon Cancer Alliance, Voices of Rhode Island will hold the 6th Annual Colon Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run Sunday, Aug. 3 at Warwick City Park. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10. For the children, there will be face painting and a special Penny Social. There will be refreshments for all, including pizza and hot dogs. Again this year, the alliance will have an official timekeeper. The registration fee is $15 and T-shirts will be given out as supplies last.
