U.S. Army Private David Duchesneau Jr. has graduated from one station unit training at Fort Benning, Ga. During the intense 16 weeks of training, the soldier studied Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy and justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises. Duchesneau went on to complete U.S. Army Airborne training. He is currently stationed in Fort Bragg, N.C. wit the 82nd Airborne division. Duchesneau is the son of David and Kathleen Duchesneau of Warwick and is a 2011 graduate of Pilgrim High School.
