Confreda Greenhouses & Farms will hold a “Thanksgiving Tasting” at their Farmers Market in Hope (Western Cranston) on Nov. 16, from 12 to 3 p.m. Confreda’s chef, Jeanne Cunha, will prepare samples of Baffoni’s turkey as well as side dishes, bakery items and, of course, Confreda’s famous pies.

Cunha has added an array of delicious prepared foods to the Farmers Market at Confreda’s, including new bakery items, meatballs, Confreda’s own “red gravy” or tomato sauce, and additional items for the holidays.

“Thanksgiving is one of our favorite times of year at Confreda’s,” said Confreda’s general manager, Ray Aubin. Confreda will offer freshly baked pies, turkeys from Baffoni’s, party platters and a variety of prepared foods, including chicken soup, stuffing, apple crisp, and more. All of these foods can be ordered in advance online, in store, or over the phone at 827-5000. Orders for Thanksgiving must be made by Wednesday, Nov. 20. Pickup for Thanksgiving orders is Tuesday, Nov. 26 or Wednesday, Nov. 27.
