A workshop Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will offer contractors and trades people a “foolproof” system of marketing.
The workshop will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Slade's Ferry Center, next to the Central Rhode Island Chamber offices at 3288 Post Road, Warwick. The presenter will be Ann-Mary Currier, a marketing/public relations consultant based in Cranston.
In the tough economy of the past few years, many businesspeople have become frustrated with their marketing, wondering what, if anything, will work to bring them more business. This has been especially difficult for those in the construction industry, which has been hard-hit in the recent recession.
Yet, there is a way.
This workshop will teach the five essential steps that, if followed completely, will bring success in a business's marketing effort. The workshop is geared specifically for contractors, construction managers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and home remodelers.
The investment for the workshop is $147. Members of the Central Rhode Island Chamber receive a 10 percent discount; and an additional 10 percent discount is available to anyone who registers by July 30. Payment includes the workshop and a one-on-one follow-up meeting with Ann-Mary Currier. Doors open at 8:30 for networking and a continental breakfast. The workshop begins promptly at 9.
