Warwick Continental’s Elmwood Sports took third place in the major division City Series with a 9-5, extra-inning win over Apponaug.

With the game tied at 5-5 in the top of the eighth inning, Continental’s Matt Martinez smashed a two-run home run to give his team the lead.
