Corinne P. Cosgrove, age 86 of Warwick, the beloved wife of the late Doctor Joseph Vincent Cosgrove, passed away on December 28, 2012 at Kent Hospital in Warwick, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Sowerby) Woolley and grew up in Taunton, Mass. She lived in Bronx, New York, Norwalk and Stratford Conneticut, and Warwick. Corinne’s kind heart, great capacity for love, and generous nature will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her and the many lives she touched.
Corinne was loved and will be missed by her sister, Muriel B. Smerdon of Taunton, Mass., her sister-in-law, Jackie Woolley of Newburyport, Mass.; her niece M. Beverly Luongo and husband, Richard J. Luongo of Clemmons, North Carolina; her great-niece, Erica L. Taylor and her husband, Theodore A. Taylor of Charlotte, North Carolina; and great-great-nephew, Sean A. Taylor. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Walter Woolley Jr.
Graveside services took place on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at St. Johns Cemetery, Norwalk Connecticut.
