A story in Thursday’s Beacon on the budget hearing incorrectly attributed Rob Cote as saying he is aware of a city employee who has paid $22,000 into a pension and received $950,000 in benefits. It should have read that once retired, the employee’s pension would have an estimated value of more than $950,000.
