Cote helps lead Sea Otters to championship

SPRINT TO THE FINISH: Carolyn Cote of Warwick competes in the 500 freestyle at the South Eastern New England YMCA Championships earlier this month.

The Kent County Sea Otters won the South Eastern New England YMCA Championship for the fourth year in a row, beating out 15 other squads earlier this month. Carolyn Cote, 14, of Warwick was among the top performers for the Sea Otters, winning the 500 free and taking second in the 200 free.
