Cora McAuliffe of County Cork Irish Pub knows from the bottom of her Irish heart that whenever you give something to a great cause, you always get tenfold in return. Even though Cora (affectionately known as “Cora from Cork”) is from the Emerald Isle, she has adopted this state as her “hometown” and with the help of her loyal County Cork Irish Pub customers, wants to “give back” a portion of what she has gained here. This is why County Cork is hosting a Charity Meat Raffle, beginning on Saturday, September 28th from 2pm to 5pm and continuing every Saturday until November 16th. Over the course of those Saturdays, whenever you buy a raffle ticket, you earn a chance to win prizes such as assorted fresh meats and dairy products, as well as gift certificates to local markets, among others. All the proceeds from this meat raffle go to Rhode Island Organ Donation, a lifesaving cause. Mark your calendars!

County Cork Irish Pub is located on Waterfront Drive near the Greenwich Bay Marina. This restaurant offers a full-service bar, hearty pub-style fare, genuine hospitality and outdoor sitting, all overlooking the sparkling waters of Warwick Cove. The pub is inviting, intimate and makes you feel as though you are in the Emerald Isle itself, whether indulging in a bowl of steaming Guinness Irish Stew or throwing back an original pour of their best-selling Guinness beer.

Some of the many offerings at this increasingly busy pub include their popular Fish & Chips (lightly battered fresh cod, fried to golden perfection), their famous Chowder & Clamcakes, their rich seafood bisque and delicate fried shrimp with homemade chipotle mayonnaise, to say nothing of their juicy burgers, refreshing deli sandwiches, summery salads and salty hand-cut fries. Their food is served up in generous portions and made-to-order with fresh, local ingredients

One of the unexpected great surprises of County Cork Irish Pub is their warm Sunday morning breakfasts. As soon as you enter the pub, you are met with the tantalizing aroma of bacon and sausage sizzling on the grill, and the sight of eggs and pancakes prepared just how you like them, tender home fries and some of the best hash in town. Start your Sundays at County Cork with a homestyle breakfast, served up fresh from 8:30 to noon every weekend.

There is also LIVE entertainment here at County Cork every Friday & Saturday night from 8pm – midnight and on Sundays from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. If you are lucky, you will be treated to Cora’s melodic voice, every other Saturday night.
