The Warwick Vets swim team got two victories from Katie Evans, but those weren’t enough to overcome a strong Cranston West squad on Monday afternoon. The Falcons took first and second in nine events en route to a 69-18 win.

Evans won the 100 butterfly in 1:09.65 and took the 500 free in 6:06.10. Michaela Sczuroski, Rebecca Beer and Ashley Gardner all had third-place finishes for Vets.

The ’Canes had more luck in their previous meet, beating Shea 46-32 for their first win.
