Cox Communications recently announced the promotion of Bruce Crooks to the position of vice president of customer care for the company’s operations in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Ohio.
In his new role, Crooks will be responsible for all customer relationship operations. A key component of the role will be the creation and implementation of Cox’s long-term strategic operations, focusing on providing a high quality, cost-effective service experience to the company’s residential and business customers.
“Bruce is an effective and skilled business leader with a rich background in customer service,” John Wolfe, senior vice president and general manager, Cox Communications, said in a statement.
Crooks joined Cox as director of customer care in 2011. He came to the company with more than 20 years of senior level experience managing customer relationships. He previously served as senior director at Comcast, where he managed six customer care centers. His industry experience also includes a position at Charter Communications, where he served as a divisional vice president.
Crooks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management and computer science from Illinois State University. The father of three boys, Crooks resides in East Greenwich.
