Rodrigues captured the Junior Forms Black Belt Grand Championship at the Western Massachusetts Open Karate Championships in Springfield, Mass., early last month, while Lima captured the Women’s Black Belt Forms and Weapons Grand Championships at the Connecticut Shoreline Karate Championships in Branford, Conn., in late May.
