Dance star Emily Jones to attend Barnes & Noble storytime

Barnes & Noble Warwick will host special guest Emily James, North Kingstown’s rising dance star who appeared on this season of “So You Think You Can Dance.”  Emily will be appearing for a special Hometown Star Storytime. Kids, teens and adults can meet Emily and ask her questions about being a dancer, appearing on “So You Think You Can Dance” and the upcoming national tour with So You Think You Can Dance.

A graduate of La Salle Academy and Wake Forest University, Emily specializes in contemporary dance and has trained at several dance studios in Rhode Island. She will also be appearing on the So You Think You Can Dance national tour that kicks off in October and crosses the United States and Canada.  

The event takes place Saturday, Aug. 23 at 11 a.m. at Barnes & Noble Warwick, 1350 Bald Hill Rd.
