Darla L. Van Eps, 47, of Pender Avenue, Warwick, died at home surrounded by her loving family February 5, 2012.
Born in Castskills, N.Y., a daughter of Barbara E. (Blenis) Quigley of Warwick and the late Francis P. Van Eps, she lived in Connecticut before moving to Warwick three years ago. Darla was a registered nurse and was most recently employed as a visiting nurse for TLC Nursing. She was previously employed with the former Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She was a graduate of Smithfield High School and the Community College of Rhode Island Nursing Program.
Besides her mother she is survived by a son, Steven E. Van Eps of Woonsocket; four sisters, Cindi A. Szczoczarz of Attleboro, Mass., Faith E. Whitaker of Smithfield, Amy S. Latypov and Julianne M. Van Eps, both of Warwick; a brother, Michael S. Van Eps of Navarre, Fla.; and her maternal grandmother, Dorothy A. Blenis of Surprise, N.Y. She was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service was held Feb. 8 in Spring Green Memorial Church, 1350 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
