David E. Wright of North Kingstown, formerly of Warwick, died November 30, 2013 at home. He was the former husband of Kathleen L. (Lefoley) Wright.
Born in Providence on May 3, 1953, he was the son of the late Clarence R. and Margaret E. (Robinson) Wright. A self-employed welder, he owned and operated the Ultra Precision Welding Co. of East Greenwich until his retirement. Presently he was employed as a school bus driver for the North Kingstown Schools. Prior to founding his own business, he was employed by the Leviton manufacturing Co. of Warwick. Mr. Wright was a member of the East Greenwich Firemans Club.
He leaves his cherished children: Melissa Wright, Elizabeth Wright, Rebecca Wright, all of North Kingstown and Sarah Wright O’Connell and her husband, Matthew O’Connell of Warwick. He was the brother of Patricia A. Krugman of Florida and the late Marjorie E. Page.
His funeral will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial cemetery, North Kingstown. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
