Defenders of Animals held their 39th Annual Bowl-a-Thon on Feb. 19 at Town Hall Lane, 1463 Atwood Ave. The cost of $20 per person included two hours of bowling, a pizza and a pitcher of soda for each lane. In total, 47 bowlers attended the event to raise funds for Defenders of Animals. From bowling to t-shirt sales, they raised an approximate $600.
