To the Editor:
Following the aftermath of the San Bernardino massacre, President Obama gave an Oval Office speech this past Sunday regarding his plan to deal with terrorists. It was nothing but regurgitated blather.
Later, many people were reported to have said that he was delusional. That assessment is absolutely not true! He continues to emulate the Wizard of Oz. Citizens who may believe him are the ones who are delusional.
In actuality, Obama is being deliberately deceptive. At least his record remains consistent.

Dear C. Christopher,
Isn't it possible for Obama to be delusional as well? In the Wizard of Oz, wasn't the " great and mighty Wizard" just as "delusional"?
Don't we need more transparency in Warwick government to prevent it here? Haven't we "followed the yellow brick road" of the present Mayor and his 15 years of annual tax increases long enough?? I think so. Please read my platform at www.correntemayorwarwick.com
Merry Christmas C. Christopher, to you and your family.

Dear Richard,
Thank you for your comments.
Anything is possible. However Obama’s nefarious statements and actions, on all fronts, for the past seven years, surrounded by presumably stable people, suggest that there is more going on in his head other than delusion.
There, is of course, the possibility of insanity which must be discounted since it would be preposterous to suggest that his entire staff is insane thus allowing him to run free. Since I introduced a fairytale metaphor I will concede that we might have a case of “The Emperor Has No Clothes”. However that notion is not likely.
Therefore I remain attached to my original theses that Obama is deliberately deceptive. Also he is equally deliberately destructive.
I commend you for your interest in running for office and your loyalty to the Democrat Party. Your website is very interesting. When seeking ways to improve Warwick please consider the fact that the City Council has been controlled by the same party for the past fifteen years, you mention, and then some.
Essentially the Democrat Party has controlled the entire state for about 70 years with a few brief interludes. When assessing Rhode Island’s debt, fabric of public buildings and roads as well as one of the country’s worse business climates in the country, you may conclude that it would be far better to join the Republican party than take the easy path to office by taking the same old Democrat Train.
One last thought. If you agree with me that the Obama administration is a disaster then you might consider this. The entire Rhode Island Delegation to Congress (four Democrats) has never once uttered one word regarding the inequities emanating from the Whitehouse.
May you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
